I would recommend this property to others. It is also very well situated- you can walk to everything (although be aware that the island is very hilly!). It was spacious for our group of 6, air conditioning was strong and kept up with the heat of the summer, and the view was spectacular. Our hosts Gaetano and Giuseppina were kind and helpful. Their communication was excellent throughout our stay, organising boat excursions, restaurant recommendations and bookings, transport and even a birthday cake for our daughter delivered to the alfresco kitchen before she woke up. Beyond expectations for a host, and in itself worth a 5 star review.La Forna, which is a short taxi from the port is like a quiet village with everything you need (cafe/bar, restaurants, pizzerias, grocery markets etc). We were very happy with our decision to be in La Forna as it felt like being a local and a lot less touristic. We only hope we can return one day, and certainly recommend anyone coming to ponza to stay here.
